Do you trust the board?

I think this is a valid point unless this board can ever regain the trust of the shareholders and all supporters they are doomed to faluire i belive the penny may just begin dropping at vale park

 

I think for trust to be regained, a monumental effort needs to be made. I cannot see that happening. Promotion will make no difference.

 

Part of the problem for me is that I feel that this board has been lazy. They've just gone from day to day, season after season, without any real plan or aim. They've not confided in the shareholders or the supporters, unless they legally had to (AGM, EGM).

 

The result is a ship without a captain. Bill Bratt does not have the leadership qualities required, and I believe Glenn Oliver and, to a slightly lesser extent, Mike Lloyd, hide behind Bratt. Now Meigh and particularly Jackson have gone, Oliver and Lloyd are pushed nearer the spotlight.

 

Only when their position of power is threatened do we see them spring into action. I think one positive to come from the EGM is they've received a huge kick up the back side. And frankly, they deserved it.

 

It all looks to me like they're school children playing politics. I want the politics out of there, or at least not in the public domain. Too much to ask I think, but while it goes on seemingly to the detriment of everything else, Vale will decline.

Everything they have ever tried has been done on a 'pray for the best' basis .

Personally I don't trust the board at all.

Bill Bratt has been proven to be a liar on many occasions in the press. Saying one thing and doing another, He will also say absolutely anything to save his own skin. There is no substance in anything he says in the numerous interviews he has given. They are full of erms, ahs and cliches. He inspires no confidence and I can't believe anyone is taken in by him.

Mike Lloyd seems to bend whichever way the wind blows and doesn't seem to have the backbone to direct traffic , never mind a football club.

Glenn Oliver to me seems the most dangerous. He is one of those people that preaches principles and ethics from somewhere up in his pulpit and yet displays neither of those qualities in his dealings.

Excellent stuff and at the end of the day whether we trust them isn't the real issue is it...they are ****ing useless and are killing the club!

No the question was..."do you "Bea Smith" trust the Board?"

"Mike Newton...was only willing to put is £500K" which is more than this "cartel" of parasites put together and Newton had an HSBC account with a million in it earmarked for Port Vale.......Bratt got to play Chairman/CEO for £38,000 and has taken over £250,000 out.

Mo Chaudry wants to put 5 million into Port Vale with ambitions of Academy Status and a return to Championship football...imagine the chances and the sheer luck and good fortune that a local multi-millionaire worth over 60 million wants to put 5 million into the club....it is like a lottery win...many

Championship clubs want to bite off Chaudry's hand....this lot reject it.

Anyway following a vote of no confidence and the fact that over 90% want

them gone the "Starve 'Em Out" campaign through the season ticket boycott

will mean that they have to stand aside and let the club move forward or it

will be administration and with an offer on the table the Directors would be liable for millions.

You are correct and as i have said a few times BB was asked at the EGM to sell himself and the board to us and say how they plan to take us forward,the ****er couldn't answer and that is why i have no respect at the moment for any pro board people,when their glorious leader cant answer a question like that,then again it's nearly 3wks and still no answers on the EGM fiasco from him
