Probably the most audacious and well executed goal I have ever seen.

 

On a weekend when we have just lost in embarrassing fashionable last thing I wanted to see was a Sjokie scoring a goal like that.

 

Fair do' s to him though even I had to applaud it and TP will know how hard it is for me to admit that.

It was without doubt a good goal but other goals shown on TV were better.

It was a good long range goal, but what is it with keepers straying off their lines ? Courts was on the edge of his penalty area.

Sjoke have never scored a good goal in my opinion. They are either fouls, pushes, handball offensives or offside. I haven't seen Adam's goal yet but it should clearly have been disallowed!!!

I don't think you can blame the keeper because no-one expected Adam to do that!

 

It wasn't just a lob either, it was a well executed strike with an incredible amount of curl and precision on it. Easily one of the best goals of the season, despite what that boring ***** Michael Owen said.

 

In saying though, Adam clearly handled it in the run up and it should never have been allowed! :D

It was a very good goal but I thought Zamora's was perhaps even better.

 

Adam's will go down as exceptional because of the distance but he had time and space to line it up and shoot, whereas Zamora had to sprint on to a pass, out-muscle the defender who was trying to tackle him, and lob the goalie, from a very acute angle, with the outside of his 'wrong' left foot.

 

Some cracking finishes last night, including Rooney's.

Great goal, but he had to shoot from there - it was the nearest they got to the Chelski penalty area all match.
