Women's football is pretty shocking, to be honest. Went to watch England women about 6 years ago, and it was one of the most boring games I've ever seen. I can't believe the teams keep turning up when they lose 10-0 or more every week, it can't be fun!

And that is why! because people wont give ladies football the chance! all teams have to start somewhere and 9 times out of 10 its at the bottom and work there way up!! So where credit is due they are doing what they need to so a little support wouldn't hurt anybody!!!

Because as far as I'm aware, Ash Thompson certainly wasn't in charge of the team in 2004 when the silverware was won.

 

Ash Thompson was in joint charge in 2004/2005 before taking the team on by himself at the end of that season, Mick Barber was in charge in 2003/2004 season where they also did a clean sweep of trophies.

Close up the top of that league though, 2 points seperating the top 4 and Burton with 2 games in hand.

 

LFC Burton Albion 17 - 0 Uttoxeter Ladies.

 

Uttoxetor 0-19 Port Vale.

 

Looking on the team sheet for that game it appears that Uttoxeter only fielded 7 players :unsure:
