Will the Frenchman start against Bristol City? I hope so, this guys going to be the real deal!!!

Agree. Campion really has something about him. Anyone who watches football can see already that he needs to be playing regularly.

I love Pope but it's just not working for him at the minute. We look a better side without Popey at the minute, so I'd go with Leur & Campion up front.

Brown looked tired on Saturday but after hearing Lines interview last week "If you put me on the bench, youu may as well not bring me on" he wouldn't get near my team.

Defensively Duffy is all over the place right now. Having said that, none of them inspire any confidence in me therefore bung the names in a hat and pick out 4, or better still 3 and go 3-5-2!

With this being a bit of a freebee id change it up and play 3-5-2 with wing backs, I'd go:

....................Neal.................

..Veseli..Robertson.McGivern

Marshall........................Daniel

..........Brown......O'Connor.....

...............O'Sullivan...............

........Campion.....Pope.........

If Daniel's fit i think he could play the wing back role really well, if not I'd put Yates there.

Looks good except I'm not sure about marshall's willingness at wing back, I'd have Pope on the bench, half hour run out.

I'm not sure why everyone seems convinced we will get smashed - the more likely scenario is a narrow defeat, so there is always hope that with a game-raising performance and maybe a bit of luck and possibly some complacency on their part, a draw or even a heroic win is possible.

We only lost narrowly at Swindon 1-0 and also by the same score at Milton Keynes, and by a single goal at Preston in the JPT, when we lost there 2-0 in the league we had 10 men. The only heavy defeat away under RP, and the only time 3 goals were conceded in his managership in any one game, was at Chesterfield.

Bristol City are incredibly strong defensively, and haven't let a goal in for what seems like weeks and weeks, so the problem is more likely to be scoring, but perhaps this is to be our night to remember.

Please - above all else, no red cards for Vale, as 10 men struggling here would be painful.

I'd go with that, although Marshall seems to play better on the left - so for me it'd be Yates and either Daniel/Marshall. His work rate means he probably could play as a wing back. Also, Brown started off well but to get the most out of him we're playing him far too often. No-one seemed to mention it at the time but in the transfer window I think we needed a defensive midfielder - even if it was a young one - to learn off and replace Brown when needed.

Based on current form only a moron wud predict anything short of a thrashing even tho the players are at it again in the stokenal talking a good game hopefully they don't live well down to expectations as usual and somehow fluke a result
