He's only been a genuine goalscorer in two seasons though, we have lost more prolific and better strikers previously and replaced them. It's all down to the manager and chairman who we have to support.

Some people on here just don't get it do they Deano?

 

I say if Barnsley want a frontman send them Nguessan or Williamson. People say we can replace him but we haven't done very well so far have we if we are judging it by the ones that Smurf has brought in so far!

 

Another thought if just 100 fans are put off buying a ST because their thoughts are that they don't fancy next term that £30,000 less and that would help keep our best forward.

Would be sad to see him go, but if agreement over a new deal is unlikely then better to get some cash in the bank for him and save 6 months wages as well (which from Smurfs comments I assume are a sizeable amount in isolation). Will also give the opportunity to look at others playing up top to see if they are up to the job.
