Whenever N'Guessan receives the ball he either already has his back to goal or passes the ball backwards.

 

He's not quick enough to turn his man, and for a sizeable unit he doesn't win a great deal in the air.

After not making changes for several games now Page has to man up and rotate. Robertson deserves another chance even if he is told we need you to be more vocal (presumably the only reason Duffy gets in ahead of him?). Campion again deserves another chance (sorry to bang this drum again) and finally I agree with several other than N'Guessan should be given a go up top freeing space for Moore to make his return. If it goes horribly wrong then fair enough but we have these payers in our squad for a reason. We need to use them

I think that could be underestimating the enemy. Whilst I agree it's a game we could and maybe even should win, given the events at Peterborough and their open meeting planned for Thursday I would very much beware the wounded animal.

 

Our tactics and attitude have to be spot on for this game.

6 wins would keep us up (5 realistically with 3 or 4 draws) so if we can get four points from the two home games I'd be delighted. I think we shown on Saturday we are not play off material and if we somehow did go up with a squad that clearly isn't ready it would be detrimental to us in the long run (look at Yeovil).

 

We should be looking to win this, by all accounts they have been dreadful for a couple of months now and Saturday aside certainly our home form has been very good but they do have some very useful players and a heavily financed side.

 

We need to worry about our reaction though because we were severely let down Saturday and under RP we have generally bounced back from the bad performances ok the next game.

Strange how times change. There was a massive clamour to get the lad signed up on OVF in the Summer. Most (if not all) thought he was a good signing. For one reason or another it just hasn't worked out, yet.

Strange how times change. There was a massive clamour to get the lad signed up on OVF in the Summer. Most (if not all) thought he was a good signing. For one reason or another it just hasn't worked out, yet.

 

Maybe losing his brother before pre season has something to do with it. Give the lad a break he's gone through an awful lot. He has ability but he'll need time to even begin to get over what happened and also missing an entire pre season.

 

I feel we'll see the best of him next season.

I can't make this one unfortunately but the lads have a good record at home when I'm not there so let's hope it continues.
