Whilst he was doing **** all today, I hope he was watching Morsy's performance to give him an idea of what a defensive midfield display should be. I wonder if those who thought we were right to let Morsy go (don't give me "we offfered him a contract") still think they are right.

Very good player O'connor but I don't think he's lived up to the hype so far. He does do a lot of work that goes unnoticed but I have to admit I was expecting more from him.

He's doing a lot of good work in games but we need a bit more from him with money he's on.

 

And being honest, watching him during games I think he's used to playing with better players than what we have. Also think he's finding it tough playing in a side that is struggling in a lot of games. He's used to playing in winning sides.

 

Works a lot better with Lines than Brown/Dodds imo.

O'Connor can give more than he's currently doing, in my opinion, especially at set pieces. I don't know why he's off corners. The only effective corners that Marshall has taken recently have been the short ones and other teams have sussed that one now.

That is correct Adams had a poor attitude towards young players.

I thought he was excellent against Sheff Utd and had turned a corner in his form, but the last 2 games he has been dreadful again. Possibly carrying an injury or possibly just not as good as he was (or thinks he is).
