Irvine sacked.

A fair proportion of Baggies fans didn't want Irvine in the first place and both his coaches Rob Kelly and Keith Downing also came in for loads of abuse at the Brit.on Sunday simply because they are ex-Wolves players. You've got to blame Jeremy Peace for making a poor judgement call again when he appointed Irvine,he'll get it right one day.

West Brom have struggled since their Director of Football, Dan Ashworth, got poached by the F.A.

They've done poor business in the transfer windows and they've struggled to appoint head coaches who are prepared to work within their structure.

extremely little thought went into his appointment, as was the case with the previous managers. Its funny how those who appoint hood pullers seldom get the chop because of their lack of ability in picking the right man for the job. How many managers have they had in the last few years ?

Seems to be a lot to me.

Was Chaudry lining him up to be our manager if he'd taken over?

Irvine definitely left the ground with Chaudry after a few home games when the protests were going on.

He may have done well at vale, bit of difference between what was then a league 2 club and the prem.

**** club, **** them.

Pulis is nailed on surely. Other than Stoke I can't think of one team I would rather him break his record with and send them down if he does take it.

Pulis starts work tomorrow on a two year contract with another bonus if he keeps the Baggies up.He's still not spent the £2m bonus he got for keeping Palace up last season?:D
