No, but one player can make a huge difference to any side. Liverpool are obviously a much, much better team with a fit Daniel Sturridge in it. Anyone who disagrees are just talking absolute nonsense, though I'm used to having to hear it with the Chuckle brothers REP and Howjy circling like vultures in this thread.

Look at players who have been injury prone previously and Bodgers should have sourced better alternatives than those of personal sick note Mario and Lambert.

 

On average according to talk sport this week he gets injured just over every 4 games, that's a terrible stat.

That's my point re Liverpool..a club like Liverpool should be able to cope better with losing one its better players..it should have bertter 'replacements' than Balotellili and Lambert

 

"Small" clubs struggle when their best players are out..big clubs should have a good enough squad to keep the impact to a minimum..says a lot about the current state of Liverpool...which I find rather sad
