To avoid this thread is becoming contaminated again, lets get back to the second game today. Did anyone else think spurs were hugely fortunate against Swansea. I'd back Swansea to finish higher than Spurs by the end of the season.

Nice to see Burnley beat Southampton as well, a result that would have been a huge shock a month ago.

Really? I didn't know that's how forums work. Threads usually get closed if it wanders off topic, or two people are continuously arguing with one another. None of that happened in the thread that did get closed. This site often asks for donations, which is something I've done before. But why would I donate again if topics are randomly closed with no real reason given?

They get closed cos the mods decide to close them, they don't have to justify theri decisions and it's up to you what you do re donations.

Get over it

Yes, you've already spouted this before somewhere. You're a huge bundle of fun.

Jog on!

Liverpool really missing a finisher..confidence seems so low..maybe the players have lost faith in Rodgers and each other. A good signing in january plus retrun of Sturridge clearly can't come soon enough

As to Spurs..they took their chances but won't get away with that sort of performance too often

I aim to be consistant

I'm not the one coming on here moaning just cos a thread got closed, Mr Chuckles. Get over it

There's been consistent and then there's just repeating yourself. No doubt tomorrow you'll say exactly the same thing. I'm quite worried about you, Johnny.

Mourinho is turning into a bit of a ****.

I recognise managers don't like to criticise their own but to say his players aren't divers is ludicrous when they are the worst culprits. Surely an FA reminder regarding his conduct needs to follow.

Some people can be very good at things but still be horrendous people. Hitler was very good at developing the German road structure with all the autobahns being a major innovation, and Moron-o is a very good football manager.

Whilst I wouldn't actually compare the two in terms of smug self-importance and the comp[arison is made on the opening point only, the Chelsea manager comes across as a nasty piece of work and a liar who knows he is lying but thinks his audience are stupid.

lets hope he is pleased with his Champions League next round draw.

I think he's just being mischievious rather than malicious. Not justifying nor excusing his behaviour but i don't for one second think he actually believes what he is saying, in his mind he's just having a bit of fun. Having said that he has a responsibility to the game to discourage his players from diving so I hope that behind the scenes he is doing that.

I'd start punishing managers of teams that repeatedly have players booked for diving..fines, bans whatever

2 women at the OVF bus stop, having a private chat and minding their own business, one says to the other 'There's nothing worse than when your washing gets soaked by a sudden rainstorm.'

A devon dapper suddenly appears from nowhere and sprouts; ' Rubbish, ridiculous. I think you'll find that the blisters caused by the cold on the rings of Saturn is far worse, I should know as I work from home and look up things about Saturn in between posting 20 times a day on OVF.'

Without warning, a Scousey snivel is heard from the other end of the bus shelter sending the women into a terrified state, 'yeah, but did you know that Gerrard scored 2 goals against Saturn once and they were both given offside, that's typical of our luck, I rang Brenda yesterday to tell him which team to pick and said I was phoning from Saturn and he said surely you mean you are talking from Uranus.

A third voice peeps up, 'Don't worry UKIP will sort it all out, Nigel will send them and their rings back to Saturn.'

The 2 women throw themselves in front of the bus when it comes. 'Did you know those buses were built near Liverpool and used to run from Anfield to the Pier Head?' is heard as 3 dishevelled posters saunter off to their PCs to add their thoughts on the day for our enlightenment. None of them mention the double bus suicide tragedy.:) see, a smiley too.
