Would have been a good day to have a practice match of the first team attack against the first team defence, with a sprinkling of the new loan signings. I am sure that at least 1000 fans would have paid £5.00 to be there. They could then do an hour in the shop signings shirts etc. We would surely have made enough money to buy new bulbs for the lights. Another opportunity to raise money missed.

Thanks Norman for explaining the reality of the situation. I noticed on Saturday that Gillingham, who also Lost in Round One, had brought forward their JPT match to next Saturday from a Tuesday evening. I feel that it's high time the Supporters Club began to raise funds for the benefit of the club.

How long do the bulbs last? Apart from the positive publicity, would 4-5k be better than 0k? Obviously too close to sort something as suggested above but a similar event or something similar to mk dons' family day be worthwhile.
