The postal resolution needs to be run independently with returns going to a body outside of the club for verification.

They will set a short timescale while the books are unavailable and expect a low return rate while their block vote and Adams "3 minutes of infamy" as Meighs sponsored subordinate will legitimate the Board of Directors so that they can sign the Ameriturf deal and then the "cartel" will have over 53% and then there will be no need to call an EGM or have a postal vote ever again.

Despite a vote of no confidence with 90% against and an EGM that voted them out of power such that the club doesn't have a functioning Board of Directors so that they can't sign any deals they are using a

formerly popular manager so that Meigh can return to power after being voted off and once the deal is signed Jackson can walk back in as well and with that last minute purchase of the Broxap shareholding preumably Mudie is to be sponsored.

That they can't make deals and are nolonger a functioning Board is the wishes of the shareholders at the EGM....to then return a Director into

the Boardroom via the sponsorship of a subordinate employee when the

Director has been voted off inorder to return power to a Board who were

voted out of power at the EGM and who have no moral authority or mandate is frankly disgusting and clearly very wrong.

This has nothing to do with signing players who are all on holiday for another two weeks and will all still be under contract at clubs untill July.

Mark Sims was elected to the Board at the EGM and has a right to see the books and this is an attempt on so many levels to go against the wishes of the shareholders and the results of the EGM....just watch the books will be

unavailable and the quicky low returns postal vote using a popular manager

for evil ends will simply block vote a fourth Director to enable the signing of that Ameriturf deal and then the "cartel" have 53%.

Surely there must be a way for shareholders to call foul on this postal vote and demand an EGM?

Is there nothing in company Law that we can do to prevent this?

 

How can we vote for Adams without questioning him and finding out his views on club matters, conflict of interests, what skills he will bring to the board

 

Once again they have muted shareholders and supporters by their actions to force through by the back door a resolution solely aimed at self preservation

There is nothing we can do....from a company law point of view we are stuffed (unless they do anything illegal and it is proven).

 

They aren't interested in our views and it won't make a shread of difference....that is clear.

Micky Adams needs to understand that this isn't just about football...it cant be.

 

As a director of a limited company he has a legal duty r to ensure that business and commercial decisions are being made in the best interests of the shareholders. If it is found that is not the case, he faces serious legal implications.

 

This isn't a footballing decision....does Micky really understand the situation??... i think not

I think Mickey has been involved in football for a long time and probably knows quite a lot about such things. I am still not convinced by the idea that the board act in a disgusting way either. Just because you don't like what they do. Anyway which board do you mean if Simms and NLV join it will be a different board anyway. wouldn't it be better to effect change from the inside not to just stand outside shouting the odds!

It doesnt matter if they own 100 % they are still doomed. They will not be able to keep the club afloat on gates of 3000. They lose £300k pa on far more than that.
