Perhaps didferent people have voted - not everyone votes on every poll. Perhaps OVF have restricted th ability to take part in the poll to VALE FANS ONLY instead of every tom **** or harry who come on her eg Tunstall Potter, that ***** from Preston etc .

Hopefully you were not referring to davidatpreston, but if you were this Link may assist to persuade you otherwise :)

I think he should get the job until the end of the season but I think its too early to say if he should continue beyond that.

Every half decent team we have played has beaten us, to progress we need to take points off the top teams not just those around us. We do seem to be playing better on the whole but a result against 10 men isnt enough to be certain, especially as we were rubbish until the sending off. The two subs also made a huge difference but should they have been on from the start?

More time needed for me.

I'd give Page a chance.

Too many young managers are glossed over and ignored in favour of established names which haven't had much success. Just look at Eddie Howe and Sean Dyche. i bet there were a few fans wanting "big" names.

There used to be a round robin of certain managers that used to keep popping up at various clubs, never really achieving anything but getting huge paychecks for a few months work. Page has proved himself as a coach and has had a relatively successful start as a manager. We'd be foolish to swap just because an established name has entered the fray.

I think at home Page has certainly changed things. The players looked scared in the latter weeks of Adams reign and 3 wins and a draw from 4 home games inner bad however you look at it.

Away is a more deep routed problem. We've won 5 away games in 12 months(1 of those was Short **** Utd away in the Cup last year and Plymouth in the 3rd round replay) so 3 in the league, most of that is of course under Adams. We have certainly tightened up under Page but daft mistakes and missing chances(eg Fleetwood) are costing us. IF Page is still there which I suspect he will be 3 out of the next 4 away are against side in and around us in the table, I'm not gonna say win them all or else it's failure but certainly a chance to make some progress!
