What better excuse to stay away?

Champions League "product" on TV and the risk of the wind messing up your hair.

No doubt many will 'stay away' then be on here later or during giving us their expert view as to who played badly ,who played well, who should leave , who's rubbish, who should have done this ,who should have done that etc, etc, etc and all without seeing one second of it !

Thanks in advance to them for 'staying away' then providing us with their well versed views .

Signed on a youth loan according to the official site and SSN. Is this any different to a normal loan signing?

The rules are not the easiest to work out. From what I can gather (and the rules I read were dated 2012 so it may be different):

1. Clubs are allowed to have four loans of players aged over 23 and four for players younger than that.

2. A maximum of five loan Players (Standard, Emergency or Youth) can be named in the match squad.

3. A youth loan is a player who is a scholar (youth teamer in other words) at a club or aged 20 years and under (age at start of season)

Vale have seven loan players at the moment:

Reiss Greenidge, Harry P and Streete (who isn't 20 till November) are therefore technically youth loans though I'm not certain Streete is classed as one. Perhaps because he's a professional player, he can't be classed as a "youth loan" - the rules are not exactly clear.

I also presume that Zubar (28), Veseli (22), Slew (22) and Campion (24) are classed as regular loans.

What I can't work out is the first point of the rules above. By my calculations we have FIVE players aged under 23. Perhaps the rules have changed since 2012 or perhaps that figure doesn't include youth loans?

Clear?

All I can say is :dizzy:

Any one who stays away because of a bit of wind has never been on the away end at Gillingham

Fartoo much info! Blowing off in the Lorne street is a regular occurrence. Loads of old wind bags there passing comments! Players will probably wear pumps too. And to trump it all Vale will win by a wind assisted Neal kick!

Leicester City’s Harry Panayiotou Signs On Loan For Port Vale

http://www.port-vale.co.uk/news/article/20141020leicester-citys-harry-panayiotou-signs-on-loan-for-port-vale-2027693.aspx

Please can we play him, not just leave him on the bench.

If, as it states in the article, he's only here until the 16th Nov--there's only one match he could play in!!
