Dont go the games? Then don't comment!!

Like Vale I Do

I never heard however, people calling for Micky to go, it just wasn't that atmosphere, generally supporters were down but willing to give him a chance to turn it around, as I am. Then this morning on the radio, the vast majority of texters, callers - people who went last night, were backing Micky to make the changes and give him time.

I would love to know as a % how many of you demanding Micky to go were there last night.

I went on Tuesday night and I don't have confidence in Adams. If it just wasn't that sort of atmosphere, that was because most people were resigned to the fact we were going to lose and play poorly.

There were plenty of grumbles and people unhappy with Adams near to me. Just because they haven't started an Adams Out chant yet doesn't mean that everybody's dead happy.

People choose to go or not to go for various reasons but the still have an opinion, which is how it should be.

Its cold/its expensive/the footballs cack etc etc etc... Personally.... £2,000 per trip is far too expensive to watch a dull team, driven by a clueless manager get humiliated... however if you want to pay my air fair I would be prepared to fly over and hold you hand... provided you also bring an appropriate adult

Last night we were practically down to the bare bones of ST holders only. Yes, we were moaning, yes we were fed up and yes it was poor again. We all moaned about the team selection, the substitutions and the fact that we all knew we needed better centre backs ( not mentioned until McGivern has been shown up ) We all know better and we all could do Micky's job...

And then I look on here....., wow, just all the same people who were loving the drama of admin, will he, wont he sign? And then sheepishly add I'm not going anyway cause " the product is no good" - thanks for that catchphrase Paul Wildes - I would love to know as a % how many of you demanding Micky to go were there last night. Micky Out??!! Then what, you don't go cause we don't have a manager and Vale are in turmoil or just stick with not going cause its too expensive?

Same old ****** on this site. Always preaching, for most they use the site as an ego trip. Particularly admins.

I haven't been to a game this season and yes I wanted him gone, why well to be frank I didn't want him back after he left for Sheffield, another why, well because he is on a massive contract and was brought in by Bratt as a desperate measure to save his own back.

I would love to go to games but it far to expensive for me to travel and watch the rubbish (that seems to be on show).

I hear you say 'get a season ticket and save money' I considered a 10 game ticket but on recent results I'm glad I didn't. If you send me my diesel money I will attend one weekend, by the way I live on south coast and just starting up a new business so money is tight before you say I'm a bad supporter!!!

Lets hope Smurf brings in the right man or woman to take over from MA!!

PS I went to many games last season and didn't see a vale win in every match I attended!!

I sit in the Railway Paddock and I didnt hear one shout of Adams out

Again, you obviously weren't sitting near me. The guy in the row behind me (who I later found out was putting his feet on the back of the seat in front of him, the seat in which my wife was sitting in, and trapping her hair) was constantly shouting for MA to leave. As the third goal went in he shouted "I hope these beat us by six so NS has to sack him in the morning".

If that guy is reading this, and is there on Saturday (he left on 75 mins and I noticed that the seat had a season ticket sticker on it), I'd like an apology for my wife when we take our seats.

I've been to all home games this season bar one and other than against County, in which we were a bit unlucky on the day, we've looked dreadful. I can take losing games of football as long as there is fight in the team and it at least looks like it has an idea of what they're trying to do. This current Port Vale side didn't of late under Adams bar the odd game here and there. Micky's teams have a very basic plan A and when you're winning games people don't mind about the performances so much, but when you are losing week in, week out, getting rings run around you at times and generally lacking any idea and direction then it's just not good enough.

Adams like everyone here knew that in the summer the defence badly needed strengthening, and sadly the two he bought in to the club, McGivern and Vaseli to try and achieve this, are looking no better than the crap we already had last season. We were all impressed by the signings of O'Connor and Brown in midfield, along with Jennings, and yet due to his terrible tactics the midfield was often bypassed, when in fact it should be the strongest part of the side with the players we have!

I just think that Micky Adams relies a hell of a lot in his ability to motivate players and get the best out of individuals, and it very much looks like he lost that ability after a few seasons at the club. Hopefully a change will be good for both Port Vale and himself.
