Our League Form Since New Year (1st January 2014)

Thats right, the last time we won away in the league before Doncaster was at Walsall in November 2013. If this isn't sufficient prove that Micky Adams is not the man to take our club forward then I do not know what is. I didn't want him to sign a contact in the summer as I could see what was coming. Alot of people didn't see the bigger picture last season, I went to most of the away matches and since Christmas we were just cannon fodder for the bigger sides and scraped points against the so called lesser sides at home. If we still had the same squad from last season then I could maybe understand a little bit more, but it isn't the case, our team is one of if not the strongest I've ever seen since i've supported the club since the early 2000's. I for one will still go to the games despite this horrendous run as I support Port Vale not Micky Adams and I also feel very sorry for Norm and the money he has pumped in this season to get this awful return. ADAMS OUT.

If those figures are correct and I'm not disputing them it's a bit worrying as although 66% of the matches were at home we only won 19%. It also works out as 38pts out of a possible 141 (27%)

It's all on that site. What's also interesting is that in the second half of games in the league this season we have scored 1 goal and conceded 9. Begs the question what is he saying at half time? whatever it is, it clearly isn't working at all.

Great post! If you look at how we play, it's awful to watch and not very effective ! We need to get back to playing proper football and using out big pitch with width and good wingers.

 

Sorry, but this is an entertainment business, and I can't justify £25 for the football on offer. Gates tell the story for me.

 

Bye bye Micky , my honest view is that he was part if the old regime and I will be glad to see him gone.

 

We need a manager who will take us forward not backwards !

Well carry on a season at the 27% points won ratio and we'll end up with 37 points which would have relegated us last season. TBH we even look worse so far this season than we did at the backend of last.
