So what's going on with him? If he's injured then fine. If not, then he should be at least in the squad. He is no worse than Duffy or McGivern and is one of the few players capable of scoring 5+ goals in a season.

 

He's not been in the squad for three out of the last four games, against Chesterfield, Crewe and Bristol City, who have some of the biggest players in the league in Gnanduillet, Haber and Flint. Yet he was picked for the Peterboro game when they don't have a big target man.

 

Was he picked for that game just to humiliate him knowing he would get skinned every time by quick players?

 

You were the one who gave this bloke a two-year contract, Micky.

Same thing with Daniel.

 

 

It's called the manager not having a clue what he's doing... I'm not a Robertson fan btw, the goals are coming as a result of the teams inability to defend, not just those that play in defence. We continually give away stupid free kicks knowing that we cannot defend!

The goals are either being scored by, or created by tall players too!

He goes from being out of the squad to being in the first 11 and out again because Micky has no idea what he's doing. He's ****ing lost it.

I don't necessarily think he's the answer - it's often said in cricket you become a better player by simply not being in the team - but dropping him after the Peterborough game given the height of the Crewe front players was puzzling.

 

Agreed.

 

When things go wrong, people scramble about for answers. Robbo was caned on this website by a fair few and all of a sudden he's good, just because he isn't the most recent to **** up!!!

Agree with this. Robbo may attack the ball in the oppositions box decently, but he certainly doesn't win his fair share of headers in our box. In fact, there was a period last season where most headed goals cam from men he was meant to be marking. Nile Rangers v Swindon at home springs to mind, but I am sure that there are a few.

 

Maybe all of our defenders have lost the ability to turn their necks and have a look at where their men are? Either that, or they all have blinkers on like the horses!
