Season Tickets

Post #14...Interesting! I don't think this would work, as it is, as you would probably need to pay for 3 years' tickets at a time. However, some businesses, such as Game (pc and console games retailer) issue cards on which you can put variable amounts of cash on, to give as presents, etc. Maybe we could issue Vale Saver's Cards, which we could put cash on, when (if) we have some spare;or could ask family / friends to put some on for birthday and Christmas presents. This would then lessen the blow when it comes time to renew the ST? Alternatively, these could also be used for purchases in the club shop, or against matchday tickets? Just a thought?

Excellent suggestions by MarkieG and Lancy Tony. It is something the Club needs to work towards. Several organisations have plastic cards to which additional seasons or runs of games can be added, but don't expect everything to work smoothly at first - there will be teething troubles. As for Rory, you have been invited to email the ticket office if you have any problems. or you could try ringing and then pass information on to the rest of us.

Bit gutted yesterday turned up with 340 quid for me ,my lads and nephews ten match vouchers and couldnt get them as system down till the 28th.

Love putting a pic on fbs wonder of you site of all the tickets plus me new things ive had for my birthday from the Vale shop.

So ive got a huge sum of money on me till the time they sort out the issue.

Nevermind have too be careful ,lets hope lots more folk r going too attend ,the matches cause if I payed full price it would be a load of money each game,it makes sense have a ten match one as work nights.

If you work nights, how would that affect you?

Who did you speak to ? That's a poor effort from the Ticket Office.

Not many businesses would turn away a customer with £340 in his hand - even if they can't sell you a ticket there and then, they should have taken the cash off you and given you a receipt.

Some people would walk away and not bother with the hassle of going back - and they should know that!

Spot on.

Wouldn't it be easier to just have a printed book of tickets again?

It's not like that bleeping guns at the turnstiles were much use anyway last season.

I suppose the bleeping guns were an investment and Vale want to get the use out of them. If they ever broke down and needed replacing we'd go back to paper tickets I suppose.

Just phoned the ticket office and was told that season tickets would be available for collection next Friday - one week before first match! They also said those not collected would be posted after a few days. I can see mine being stuck in the post and not arriving for the Walsall game and there is little I can do about it as I'm on holiday until 8th.

A bit of a shambles if you ask me!

I thought they usually posted to addresses outside the local postal codes, as a matter of course.
