Southend boss Phil Brown confirms interest in Port Vale's Gavin...

 

SOUTHEND manager Phil Brown has this morning confirmed his interest in Port Vale's Gavin Tomlin. The striker is considering a move away from the Valiants, with the League Two outfit believed to be favourites for his signatire. Vale are lining up former Walsall striker Craig Westcarr as a replacement if the Tomlin deal goes through. Tomlin joined the Valiants from Southend 12 months ago, but has had a mixed campaign, starting only 17 league games. Brown said he's keen on signing the 31 year...6204259-thumb.jpg
