I have heard from a friend who showed me a text from a Gillingham fan stating that Adams has agreed to join them on a 3 year deal. Apparently taking half our out of contract players with him. Or that is what Gills tans are thinking anyway. I think Peter Taylor is only interim isn't he?

Now I agree there,i am sure Adams wont want be in the position he was this January(in with a sniff of the play offs and then told he cant sign anyone),so I think he will want an assurance that he will be backed.

Adams loves this sort of thing. He loves the attention and he's worked this all to his advantage. By stirring up a bit of hysteria it's win-win. He stays and the fans rejoice, he speaks to other clubs and is 'in demand'.

What he forgets is that whilst he is talking to other clubs, Vale may well be talking to other managers.
