Racism is a much bigger issue in Spain than it is over here. Do you remember those F1 "fans" turning up at Lewis Hamilton practice session wearing gorilla masks? I have a friend who was living in Spain at the time - his wife's Spanish family couldn't see anything wrong with that.

I'm all for kicking racism out of football but walking off the pitch sets a dangerous precedent. Team A is 5-0 down in a match that means something and a player on team A accuses a player on team B of racially abusing him, team A walks off the pitch and demands a replay etc.

It's a good point..I would not put it past certain managers to do something like that
