Is OVF irrelevant ???

Like Vale I Do

You only have to look at other similar sites and you quickly become well and truly brassed off with the language, threats of violence and sheer hatred of others. None of this on here thank God! Yes, plenty of disagreement some having digs at others but well and truly informative and slightly addictive.

In a sense of comradeship I have even deleted everyone off my ignore list, at least until the next time someone does my head in!

Promise to be on my best behaviour Bert :)

The opening poster does have a point though,Out of the last 16 posts 8 have been from REP!!

I believe there's a simple explanation for that. People tend to post in short time spans (when they are reading the threads). I quite often see a batch of replies from Geo, REP or Johnny Aitch. But over the course of the day that number evens out somewhat as more people have their say. That said, there's always going to be someone who posts the most number of posts on a forum. Does that mean no-one else can have their say. I'd argue not.

Spunk Master sums it up here, nowt much more to be said

Oh yes there is. Mainly because that is not the case. It's not true to say that the majority of our 600-odd individuals are posting on the GTC thread.

As it's now the only straw you are clutching to, what's your argument now?

I can barely wait to hear it...

That's very much the case speaking personally. It's a brilliant use of my down time when sitting on a train, in an airport lounge or watching rubbish on TV etc.

I really should get to grips with multi-quoting and reply to copious amounts of posts in the same reply.

JA seems to be the master of multi-quoting, where is he when I need some training! :D

JA doesnt multi quote much, he will now come on and prove me wrong, he tends to break down a post and answer individual parts by splitting the quote into answerable sections

You are correct Rob, and using the GTC factor is - in my opinion - a furphy because our average GTC guesses this season is 130. Given the GTCs are usually open 7 days before kick-off time 130 equates to 18/19 posts per day.

:D
