Possibly so. I wouldn't think that Fulham would want him involved with a team whose players are getting confronted by angry fans following a poor result. ( I think the result was a lot worse than the performance).

Putting a player out to loan is supposed to be a positive experience so that they gather good experience and return full of confidence, the alternative being that they are looking to offload and are putting him in the shop window, so to speak. Being in an unsettled and out of sorts defence won't achieve this aim.

 

Hands up all those who think he will feature in Fulhams squad on Saturday...

 

Sorry hands down from moi. Don't think he will even make the squad.

Is it not worrying though when our manager claimed he was a better Central Defender, but for any Vale fan who watched his best position was Right Back

 

As worrying as the fact it took him god knows how long to see that Duffys best position is CB when he obviously wasn't a natural right back. This despite Duffy himself telling Adams on many occasions and glowing references from Exeter fans saying he was a very good CB not a bad holding midfielder but an average RB. Micky makes me scratch my head at times, but other times I think mmmm this man knows what he's doing! Micky Micky Micky what we gonna do with you ay?
