Who's bought there Season Ticket ?

Good to see that they are still honoured.Although it would have been a huge mistake not to do so.

It was indeed good to have the tickets honoured. But bearing in mind that several of those who hold them do voluntary work at the club (especially Joan) it would have been a bit daft not to do so. We bought an extra ticket last year anyway just to say thank you for honouring them.

SC link on Facebook.........

On Saturday, Vice Chair Mark Porter and PVFC Chairman Norman Smurthwaite spoke in depth about season ticket prices for the 2014/2015 season. Norman is now looking at the child 9-12 prices for season tickets as a family ticket. On reflection, it's apparent 300 children's ticket prices will increase and Norman hadn't realised so many families would be affected.

Based on attendances to date and 5,000 gates between now and the end of the season, (excluding Sheffield United - estimating 8,000 for that game), plus the sale of 4,300 season tickets will result in a turn over of 3.1 million. 60% of that is a 1.9 million pound players budget.

We will be taking all of the emails/comments/concerns in to Norman tomorrow (Tuesday), so if you would like your comments passing on, please email [email protected]

Come on then lets have your comments emailed to Mark Porter........

Doesn't the 60% include ALL income into the club?

Will be renewing 2 tickets on the 28th....maybe the club could run updates on how many have been sold like they did with the target 5,000

What I mean by this is Smurf is saying hit 5k a game and sell 4,300 tickets and the budget will be 60% of that = 1.9m BUT what about any money brought in by the marketing department?

£3.1 million seems rather low. The turnover in the last years of V2001 in a lower division was £3.5 million.

Jean Smurf PM'ed me a few months ago to chastise me, telling me that the turnover for 2013-14 was £4 million. So with the increases on ST's it could be in excess of this season?
