No team defends with 4 players. It's not just Yates, Grimmer, Duffy and Dickinson that are struggling, Griff hardly tackles or wins headers any more, Loft can't be arsed track back, Myrie-Williams shows no inclination to defend and Tom Pope loses his man at set pieces.

 

Our defending is woeful but it's not only the defenders who are to blame.

He's not though. He's played at this level before and been good. Preston fans say he's a good player, he's easily our best centre back.

 

Anyway I'm ****** off with vale and Adams. You'd have thought by now that he would have learnt how to defend properly. It's a disgrace, so many 3-0 defeats/ 3:2 defeats and now an utter mauling against a dog average side it's woeful. Look at our goal difference maybe the table lies and were a bit higher than would should be. I've noticed we rarely beat teams by 2 or more goals. We always sneak it by 1 yet when we get beat we get hammered. Lucky to be where we are. Needs to change. Should sell some tickets anyway :L
