Anyone who says Adams got his subs right is missing the point - he got his team selection badly wrong in the first place. The fact that he needed to make a double sub on 30 minutes says it all.

 

The game was lost as soon as he handed in his team sheet.

 

Hugill had little to work with, it would have been nice to have seen him play while we had a winger on the pitch but we never had the opportunity.

 

He's obviously trying to make some sort of point by picking Daniel Jones as he can't be keeping his place in the team on the strength of his performances. If he'd been killed today you get the impression Adams would still leave his corpse on the pitch rather than take him off.

Does anyone know what the game plan actually was with today's line up. It reminded me of the Sinnott days when it was hard to see any plan of how we were going to go into the match.

tomlin and JMW are scared ****less to get stuck in....I was always learned you win your battles first before u play tricks n flicks...jesus ..these two were scared get dirty let alone get foot in...close down or work hard.

Lines who I like,slowed the pace down way to much,also shyed away from getting stuck in..Jones is also a soft touch,played like bunch of women today,over the top some may say..but I only saw Popey work his **** off today,dicko at least got stuck in....but no his best game,but still tried.davis and grimmer yes been looking good,but surely adams knew there forwards were 6ft odd...and they would struggle???

Have to admit his tactics along with man management skills are poor. However, to want him gone after what we have achieved last season but also this season as well is ridiculous.

For me he's a good League Two manager and that's it. He's done a great job to get us out of League Two as the second attempt but personally I think he's taken us as far as he can. It wouldn't be an easy task to replace him but there are lots of decent managers out of work and looking for a job.

 

I just think we badly need fresh ideas.
