I recently got the remastered CD of the 1970, Jefferson Starship release, Blows Against The Empire.

 

If you like spacey West Coast rock of that vintage, it has the original (better, I'd say) lyrics on tracks 1 to 10, plus 5 bonus tracks. Although it's primarily Paul Kantner and Grace Slick, musicians like Jerry Garcia and David Crosby are all over it, and tracks 3 to 10 form what's basically a science-fiction fantasy; it's the only album that was ever nominated for a Nebula (science-fiction novel) award.

 

I'm not into sci-fi in the slightest, but it's one of my favourite records so, if West Coast rock's your thing, you might like it.....
