7. Beat Stevenage and Notts County. Draw with Rotherham. Lose at Milton Keynes.

 

This is Vale - logic goes out of the window.

 

Since the opening day drawn game v Brentford at Vale Park, we have drawn just 1 game in the last 23 which is truly amazing.

I remember we had a run like this a couple of seasons ago and when we finally did draw, we drew about 4 in a row. I predict that will happen again, which will actually be quite costly - in any event, we probably wont beat both Stevenage and Notts County as it just isn't Vale to win games that look easy, but at the same time we probably wont lose to MK Dons.

Rotherham ? Very tricky - if we somehow beat Notts county we'll lose it, if we don't we will get a result against Fatty's mob.

We haven't had a 0-0 draw for a long time either..... Stevenage will come and put up barricades and might just force one.

Worst case scenario is 2 wins - 2 losses - on recent form we don't draw games, Ideal situation with a realistic chance would be 3 wins and a draw 10 points given the teams we are playing.

 

Need to stay in touch with the top 6 - 2 wins, 1 draw and a loss gives us 7 points which should do the job. Stevenage will come to Vale Park and shut up shop so a draw is possible, MK Dons away is a tough one, the Notts County and Rotherham games are winnable.

 

Fingers crossed eh. GO ON VALE!! :pirate:
