As the loan window shuts tomorrow until January can we see anything happening at Vale? since Adams has said he is happy Loft has got injured and could be out for a few weeks and we have bookings piling up so could be without players soon.

 

Will anyone go out on loan? Shuker? and this wont be popular but could a league two team be interested in Hughes for a loan stint with him not getting the starts he wants(as happened at Notts County)

Yes he can outrun any defence but could he hit a cow's backside with a banjo, no chance. He needs a serious confident boost in front of goal and we cannot afford to wait until he gets it right.

I've posted this on another thread but if there's a chance, I'd like to see us get a centre midfielder in as cover, ideally a box to box one.

Cover I would say as first choice to replace the chap who wears 21 and needs arresting for impersonating a professional footballer

We really need a centre mid. I'd let some of the younger developmental players go out. I'd consider letting hugill go to a league 2 side.

I think its ridiculous people are saying to let 1st team members go. Every play in that squad has a part to play including Hugill now. Other development players might need to go out on loan but we don't need to bring anybody in. Our squad is bih enough and strong enough for our ambitions this season. We don't need to be overspending on loan players or upset anymore first team players by bringing people in.

Any ideas on who could be available who fits the bill?? I was having a scour through and noticed Adams has signed Michael Doyle for a couple of clubs but not sure he would fit the bill of box to box midfielder.

So should Lines get a suspension and with Loft being injured you think there is enough competition in centre midfield to cover that? I guess Birchall could fill in there

Dodds has played CM before - and played well there e.g cheltenham at home last season.

Shuker a very creative player - and as seen already that our squad members have come in and done very good jobs.

Im also sure there are development players that available that can play centre mid. Maybe gary oneil.

Yes wouldn't be surprised if Hughes asks for a loan, he obviously wants to play as much as possible due to advancing years. Its similar to when he left Notts County to join us, he wasn't content with sitting on the bench so looked elsewhere.

 

Obviously whether Micky is happy to let him leave will be another issue, and I dont think he will.
