Surprised theres no thread about him today.

 

First ever league goal, and hopefully proof that the development squad will work. Saw him make his debut at Crawley, and thought he deserved a goal there.

Great finish from Hugo today! Pope had a similar chance midway through the second half on the left and blazed over, looks a great prospect!

I said exactly the same to my mate today, from behind he is his double. My mate says he is Newton with teeth! He looks like a cross between Newton and Andy Jones to me, has confidence galore, a nasty side (was lucky to only get booked today) and looks a natural finisher. Needs to be handled correctly and we could have a diamond on our hands.

Young, eager to play, eager to learn, strong, quick and hungry...........all the attributes needed but he must learn quickly how and when to tackle.

 

Has plenty of experience in the squad to learn from and took his goal very well, could easily have set up Pope who had what looked a tap-in but chose to go for goal and finished well.

 

Adds another option up front and that can only be good for us.

no he wasn't he lifted his foot up trying to tackle, numbskull defender made the most of it and rolled around on the floor for a bit trying to get him sent off.

Didn't look like he even touched the defender from my vantage point.

 

He looks like goalscoring is in his nature, and that he enjoys finding the back of the net. Which is what you want in a young striker.

ADAMS on P and G couldn't praise him enough,never heard him talk about a player like he did,he seems to think we have unearthed one of them gems clubs pray for... FUTURE ENGLAND INTERNATIONAL ... One never knows dus one :)
