Just look them in the eye, tell them to put their head between their many knees and kiss their backside goodbye, and wallop them with something heavy. Doesn't matter how big they are, it always works. Haven't had one yet take the shoe off me and fight back....

Next doors dog, on the other hand....

Even peanuts can kill if you have an allergy to them... Some of the spiders here jump... I have found scorpions, toads [not toes] and even a snake in my shoe... but the worst by far are the ants, they get everywhere, eat anything and even the tiny ones bite.

If you come over I will introduce you to harry the spiders granddad... he usually carries the shopping for me, small body but an 8" leg span.

"Harry the spider's granddad" - now I'm intrigued!

Whereabouts would you be to have a spider who carries the shopping?

And can they hoover?

I dont like spiders, Ive seen tarantulas with their big bodies and hairy legs but harrys granddad is different, small body and very long legs... he doesnt actually carry the shopping... his rates are too high... so I let him live in the top corner of the bathroom where he kills and eats many varieties of insects... we have a very amicable agreement... he doesnt bother me and I dont disturb him.. or his relatives who live by the fish pools [strange ones with all legs pointing forward] who catch the mosquitoes who lay their eggs for the guppies to eat.

I am told there are bird eating spiders in the wooded areas, although I havent seen them, but as I said the ants are worse, although the locals dont seem to mind them... probably because they eat them.
