As a dad of 2 young children I think it's a great idea.

A price would be a good idea, especially if they want people to let them know how many they want to order.

It would also be a good idea to state what age range they are targeting... and what exactly is in the box... a sandwich bap containing? A sweet bite of? A drink of?

If its being done by the ground caterers I can see problems... its an area that needs developing [catering], personally I would have gone for the bigger market first but its a start... although the offerings are starting off too wide [in my opinion] vegetarian options and dietary requirements are good... but complicate the situation considerably, I hope it works.

I doubt the caution to 'bear with us' has anything to do with OVF, but it is a great initiative all the same. Marketing a product sometimes requires a 'suck and see' approach.

great idea. sadly, we'll probably end up poisoning the local school kids with off-date second hand wrights pies haha.

 

Anyone notice at Tranmere how many young kids there were all sat together in the top left of the main stand? That was mint!! What we and ALL other clubs should do! Get all our U12's for free to a meeting point in each stand, then move them all to an area where they all sit together. Will make them want to go back every week even if we lost the game. Tranmere gained a lot more respect from me when I saw that, get kids into proper football!

It's another good idea. My kids are almost (but not quite) ready for Vale Park and I think the option of being able to get them something healthy to eat is a good one.

The boxes are available on saturday... I thought it might be useful to tell potential customers what is in the box and what it costs before the launch [or lunch] day... call me old fashioned but I like to know what Im getting before I order something.

I believe the price is £3.50p but of course i could be wrong.
