Burslem in its heyday must have been one hell of a place..even when I frequented it thru the 80s and 90s it was a cracking place for a night out..still is really I guess

In my yoof it was the venue for stag nights . As many pubs as possible followed by the Adulte(ry) then the 007 club.:drink:

Brilliant list got drunk in a lot of them. My first drinks were in the bulls head in the 80s aged 15 when the benion family kept it their lad was my best mate so a blind eye was turned to our age.

God, you must be as old as me!! Adulte was wicked, grab a granny night most nights, if you were unlucky!! 007 club too was a den of iniquity and I recall my fost time round married spending some time in there on my stag night. My brother and I walked(staggered somehow) home to Trent Vale from Waterloo Road after sinking lord knows how many bevvies of crap ale. Fond memories, hey? Ladies of the night didn't bother us either ! Think we are digressing off subject theme now!
