The Cov fans were definitely more spread out in the 2hd half. First half there were sizeable chunks of space at either end of the Hamil plus pockets of space behind the pillars. 3100 felt a touch low but I thought at the game that it was going to be some way shy of 4,000.

Apologies Timothius, I had my eyes closed for the 90 minutes. 1400 empty seats ie it was less than 3/4 full? I have my own views.

Christ on a bike, take a chill pill. If you looked across the bottom of the hamil there were two or three rows of empty seats in places. It looked full because everyone was stood up. The Bycars was sparsely populated, but when they all stood up to celebrate a goal it looked half full!

The vast majority of the Coventry fans stood throughout the game. This means that unoccupied seats would be less visible to those in other parts of the ground. Perhaps this may account for the perceived discrepancy?

That is probably a fair point, from the back of the bycars I couldn't tell if they were seating or standing.

NS said that we need to average 6500 to break even this season. So far, things are looking good and I reckon that 7500 is achievable. What difference could that make to our playing budget next season?
