Attendance was right, just like it always is.

Minus the extra 1,000 supporters that Wolves had, and it adds up. :)

If you ever get chance go in police box you will see police monitoring the turnstiles counting up every click as fans enter each section. I believe the attendance is always true, would it be in vales interest to fiddle the gate and face the wrath from the fa and football league and also the tax man. Why is it when we have a bigger than normal crowd people think there is fiddling going on, it just wouldnt be worth the risk

Not sure how that could be. The Hamil when built was always quoted as seating 4,000 and it has not been extended in any way. The Bycars was quoted as holding 4,500. Now this seems to reversed according to some? The bycars has always looked a bigger stand to me and i am really not convinced that the Hamil holds that many and the original 4,000 capicity seems more realistic.

If the official Wolves following was given as 4,464 then the Hamil capacity must be 4,500.

There is no way on gods earth that another 1,400 could have fitted in the Hamil yesterday.

Not saying anyone is fiddleing the attendances, but maybe the electric scanners are faulty.

The guy in front of me yesterday must have had his st scanned a dozen times before it bleeped.

Is it scans that are counted or the turnstile mechanism as last season? Or does the scanner just verify the ticket?

Scanners wouldn't be counting season ticket holders who didn't go yesterday? The crowd figure looked about right,RP 3/4 full,RS plenty of seats empty,Lorne Street nowhere near full and the Bycars very sparse.I was surprised at the 3100 Cov fans figure.Hamil was near full.I think Norman is looking into it.If the 3100 is correct some of the 4400 Wolves who bought tickets must have been listening to their match at VP sitting on the wall outside.

I agree, there was clearly less people in the ground than the Wolves game, also agree on the cov following, there was never 1400 empty seats in the Hamil. I'm fully expecting that following his investigation smurf will amend the cov following to 4100.
