My view is that there were more there then stated the railway paddock is much fuly this season then for many years, i am 53 & think i should have a reasonable take on the size of the crowd. i thpught about 10,500 would have been right with approx 7,250 vale.

There is no way you could fit another 1300 away fans in the Hamil end that's for sure!

Railway was nowhere near similar to Wolves game for example, Lorne Street alf empty, lots of empty space elsewhere. Cannot see why we are looking for something going on all the time when it comes to attendances.

If the Hamil holds 4,500 I'm sure there were more than 3,100 Coventry fans in there. A few empties towards the front and it is difficult to see properly from afar but it looked pretty full to me.

Not quite jammed in LS and the usual smattering in Bycars so I suppose 9k+ might have been right although I would have thought it passed the 10k barrier today.

Apologies Timothius, I had my eyes closed for the 90 minutes. 1400 empty seats ie it was less than 3/4 full? I have my own views.

I was surprised it was as high as it was. From above the Lorne Street we could see there was loads of space in there and the Railway Paddock was quite sparse compared to the Wolves game.

From the Railway Stand there werent many empty seats in the Hamil, a couple of rows near the front in the middle, more like 4000 Cov fans than 3100. I reckon our attendance as home fans was pretty poor though. We still made it a good atmosphere though.

The paddock was virtually empty up by the Family stand. Normally 2nd half you expect fans to swap ends, but 2nd half you could see the tumbleweed blowing about up there. Where was everybody.

I believe they stayed put in order to question the sexual preferences of one of the away supporters

Too busy trying to wind up away fans BLVF sadly. 95% of today was fantastic, the other 5% made us look small time. A lot of the paddock give the impression they are there to see the opposition lose rather than the Vale win. Pretty pathetic in my opinion.
