EGM Research - a request

I am preparing myself for the EGM and thinking carefully about strategy here. Our biggest issues are these;

 

1. Making the couldn't care less shareholders realise they have to take a side (and that doesn't just mean RW)

 

2. Getting the fencesitters to hear all sides of the story

 

3. Ensuring that when shareholders DO vate, they know EXACTLY what they are voting for

 

It's point 3 that worries me!

 

The board seem intnet on their tactics to make this whole thing about it being a vote for Mo and that Mo is in some way related to the devil incarnate!

 

However, many of the recent statements from the Vale board seem to echo statements from the past for me. Whether it be the palidini bid over 7 years ago, or the Newton bid earlier this year.

 

I'm a busy business man myself, so I may not have the capacity of time to do all the research I would like. So I am asking please, great big please, for the following

 

1. if any one can provide any attributable quotes made by the board about previous investors that are similar to this (e.g. Paladini)...

 

2. If anyone can provide attributable or reported stories on board members akin to the accusations made against Mo in the libelous 'leaflet' sent out

There is a now well established group who managed to galavanise 1000 plus fans to show their opposition to the current board and do this regualarly via protests, it's called the Black and Gold Campaign.

 

The organisers of this campaign have always been looking, and continue to look for, any information that can be used against the board. We have many angles we can go at but any further information is always welcome.

The list of investors who have been turned down has Bharti and Smith, Vantis some property developing company all before Paladini.
