It won't be a "free"voucher though will it. You have to spend money in order to get it. A clever move by Norman I hasten to add.

 

Of course it is, its a % off discount on future purchases up to Xmas which suits me fine as I have yet to buy the away shirt, how a heck of a lot of vouchers work having worked in that industry for over 5 years. Its a revenue booster and a great gesture in one. It is however free as I am not paying for it and only a unique proportion of people are getting it.

The Limited Edition Third Shirt has proved more complex to produce than the manufacturers, Sondico first anticipated. We have been assured that the final sample will be available to sign-off next week, and this will be put on display in the Club Shop.

 

We will also be double-checking that every individual name is correctly applied to the fabric before it is supplied. Realistically, we are being told delivery of the finished article will be three weeks after we ‘sign off’ the shirt.

 

I appreciate this is far from ideal, but we are very much in the hands of Sondico who in turn are relying on their factories to deliver on time.

 

As a gesture of goodwill, because of the delay everyone who bought a Limited Edition Third Shirt will receive a complimentary discount voucher to use in the Club Shop before Christmas.
