Sponsorship is about promoting a business, Mo is integral to his businesses as the face of them. Makes me laugh when people say he's only in if for himself, Of course he is, he's a business man.

 

If Vale are a recipient of cash in the meantime then great.

Sometimes you just cant win.

 

No you cant but progression needs substance and we need to progress, so the more the merrier as long as its not mismanaged which I doubt. Mo can do what he wants as can Smurf, so if the club needs things that Mo can provide no problem. We have to move on and realize its cutthroat out there. I understand the problems some have after recent boards, but we need to be 21st century. Whats Mo done to hurt the Vale? Get a grip and all are welcome.

So in summary. Mo has a net input into vale far larger than bill bratt? Why compare to anyone else, at the time it was a choice between the two. One took out £50 k a year for a job he very bad at, and took out his shareholdings while everyone else lost theirs. The other, when all this is a long past distant memory, the archives will show a net input (however large or small) into the club far larger.

I'm glad we have smurf, and wouldn't swap him for Mo in any way. But at the time, Norman wasn't an option.

Good news, the more money that comes into the Vale the better and of course he is going to use every opportunity to publicise himself as all good aspiring businessmen do. He runs a relatively small business in the scheme of things and the exposure should benefit him and his company as well as our club.

I thought the whole idea of sponsorship was to publicise the company who were buying it... thats what Vale are selling... sponsors dont gift money they spend it buying a product

They said that the changing rooms there are a disgrace,as apparently they ran out of cash before they could be finished properly.

I didn't see one for Titanic Brewery, a company that I adore, yesterday. They now have pitch-side advertising and are serving their ale in the directors lounge.

 

Another mutually beneficial deal.

I don't mind who sponsors Vale, as long as they put in money to the club and allows MA's to build the squad. We need more sponsors to allow the financial plan to grow and there by get more players in.

Can't speak for the male changing rooms but my wife,who is an M Club member,says the ladies changing rooms are spot on.Possibly those people are talking **llocks?
