If someone told me that I should be employing this or that past employee again I'm pretty sure what my reaction would be.

I worshipped what Rudgie did for us, and the club should do something to recognise his contribution to PVFC - Honorary President or something - but only if he wanted to accept of course.

So if your boss told you he was employing a former employee you would do what?.... resign?

Poor John earning the big money the premiership and Peter Coates have payed him . Do not really know what the return on the investment in his wages have been but I suspect it must have well and truly run out.

We are all obsessed with the past at vale. We have Mickey who is doing a brilliant brilliant job and will exceed the rudge era

Rudge thank you for the memories doubt you will want to take charge of the development squad but it would be great to combine it with an allotment .

And maybe a stall on our market on a friday

Just because you've got one doesn't mean you have to act like one.

Great interview. Really enjoyed listening to that. He will ALWAYS be Mr Port Vale to me.

His appearance at half time against burton was my favourite moment of lat season, which seems strange when you consider the season, and some of the results, that we had.

A real life living legend for the people of Stoke.

As much as I disagree with the honours system, I can't think of many people more deserving of recognition than JR. Part of me likes to think that he's been approached before but turned it down. Incidentally, aren't all scouts part-time?
