Pete Tindall.....RIP.

Jimmy

Recommended Posts

Really, really gutted to hear this tragic news, I cannot believe what has happened. A super bloke, great Vale fan, honest, generous, intelligent, absolutely ultra positive and a funny guy to boot. Didn't know that he was about to be a father until I called Jimmy yesterday afternoon ask about Pete as during previous conversations he mentioned that he worked in a similar line of business as myself. I have a vacancy and wanted Pete to work for me if he was interested. Then came the call last evening. I'm gutted, absolutely gutted, terrible news and a massive shock.

RIP Pete and condolences to Freddie, family and friends.

Only knew him from the start of last season and his invites along with jimmy,Tom my son,big e for the away trips to Bradford, forest green,Torquay where he would accept a penny from us for the trips he used to drive

He was the kindest man I have ever met and would do anything for anybody at a moments notice a perfect gent to aspire to for anyone

I will always remember our night out in Torquay when we won in the 80's bar drunk with his shirt open to the waste singing at the top of his voice to depeche modes just can't get enough

RIP mate your will be sorely missed but never forgotten xx

Never had the pleasure of meeting him in person but thru OVF I can understand the world has lost one of life's really good guys. For forty years I used to take my mum to most games but she sadly passed away the Thursday before our last match, I can honestly say life will never be the same again. But life must go on and Lisa and the rest of Pete's family believe me you have many many friends who will be there for you. My thoughts are with you all. xxx

Obviously I've never met Pete face to face, but after reading all the above sentiments there's no doubting whatsoever that we have lost a top, top man.

I'm so stunned by it all that the only thought to mind is one of life being so very cruel at times.

R.I.P Pete.

Condolences to Lisa and family.
