speaking to smurf tonight at the match..he said we are announcing a new signing at 6am...wouldnt say who, so may or may not be lines......

 

RS have backed that up saying 'more great news' tomorrow.

 

Kind of disappointed if its not Lines now

I hope griff is unveiled with someone else at the same time - nothing against Griff coming to us but it's like he never left anyway. Anti-climax.

Gutted if it's Griff. Not because I don't like/rate him, but I do feel that Smurf has given the impression of someone else or a bigger name as he did over the announcement of Loft. And before anyone says I'm being negative I do see the signing of Loft as a sweetie, he is wonderful eye 'candy' IMO:yes:

Dunna talk daft.. Griff is only player who never had to be carried.. Never hid.. Always gave 100%.. He is not great at passing granted but his work rate and ability to get stuck in and break up play is a good asset to have.. We could do alot worse.. You forget the run we were on last year when we were constantly getting overrun in midfield?? That stopped when Griff came back..

Trouble was we also didn't win many 6-2 when he came back either. :razz:
