We should be hearing something about this next week.

 

What's the protocol? What can go wrong? Why are the Board pretending to be calm? Have they got something up their sleeve?

I don't know how all this works so a bit if explanation and detail would be interesting.

 

I'm hoping B&G or Mo/Mark have someting up their sleeves. I reckon the turnout on the night will not match the boards shareholding. ATM, I see it being about 60%-40% in the boards favour, sadly :(

The board cannot be trusted to be involved with the organisation of an EGM, in my opinion.

 

I'm hoping the FA or another body gets involved and monitors proceeding very, very closely.

 

Now that me friend is a very good shout and maybe something that LB and his team could/should be looking into.

I too agree, what could MC and MS have up their sleeve, it'll be down to a vote and a 1 share 1 vote so it's stacked against. Robbie's vote is king get that and we have a chance.

With this in mind how much are the cost to hold the EGM likely to be and who monitors the costs accrude by the board. Wouldn't like them to issue us with a half million pound bill for sending out some bits of paper and arranging a bit of a meeting hall.

If the board call it by Friday, they (the club) stump up the cost and it will more than likely be at the Vale. If they don't call it by Friday then the shareholders (NLV) can call it and the cost can legally be reimbursed by the club back to to organisers. Many plans have been put in place should the board not call it by Friday, venues, dates etc.

 

Either way the club pays.

I would imagine the club will send the forms to all shareholders, once the date is set.

This well maybe the case, but if they win by that method, they've lost. SEO will crucify them.

I hope I'm wrong but my gut feeling is that Bratt feels confident that the board has enough votes based on the one share one vote system to overcome any item on the agenda that might threaten the directors positions on the board. A call for a vote of no confidence in the board may be a different matter.Presumably members of the board would not be able to vote on this.

I have been wondering about this. I might ask if the FA can send an 'independent observer'. The same person who I mailed about Mudie would be good I think.
