Don’t think Sproson would be a recruitment answer- not been overly impressed with the ones Vale have taken with him as agent. Plus he works in the first interests as agent for his players not Vale.

At least the cricket season has started and I can turn attention to my team, Warwickshire which has begun pretty well. Given some reasonable weather, I shall enjoy my cricket, turn off from PV until we start next season in League Two. If I'm really lucky, Solihull Moors will be in the National league play-offs and maybe a local "home" fixture for me next season if they are successful in gaining promotion!
Do Warwickshire need a new scoreboard?

Next season in Div 4 we will need some harder players because this lot won’t survive on cold nights getting lumps kicked out of them. They won’t be playing against nice tippy tappy stuff in Div 4!

The players have to go out and perform and they were simply outplayed by a better team. To be honest I watched Exeter warm up and thought we were in for a difficult game. We did well to be ahead at half time, but were no match second half.
The thing that sticks for me is that I watched a dreadful game at Exeter earlier in the season where Exeter were even worse than us
Now look at it - Exeter recruited well and are miles ahead of where Vale ☹️
