  1. One player I was looking forwards to seeing today…. Typical. Delighted garrity is starting and plant back on the bench. DM clearly Dosent rate Massey or Grant (thankfully). Team isn’t too bad. The midfield looks strong I think it’s a case of players like Chislett getting up and helping Wilson

Just to clarify, the whole thing with the rainbow ball is an EFL thing, not a Vale thing.

But yeah this stuff, it matters and makes a difference to the minority / marginalised. Pretty much the whole point to it.

Does it? Not sure how someone in the ‘minority’ would benefit from this. Everyone is equal end of. Keep politics and other subjects out of football. Keep football for football for all.

Failing to invest ... £10M and counting.

You are clearly on a wind up.

Invested the same way as the previous owner. (Nothing up with it and is common practice just the previous owner was slammed for this)

The club could do absolutely anything and it wouldn't be good enough and people will moan

    Free tickets? Terrible idea

Feed the homeless? <ovf censored> them, focus on the starting 11

Sack the manager? Wasn't his fault, why have they sacked him and not the DoF

Communicate with the fans? No they aren't saying what I want to hear

I think you’ll find the majority wanted the manager to be sacked. I did since Cheltenham at home. But Flitcroft also needs to go. The communication from Carol came after a long period of radio silence and was unbelievably one sided. Not sure how feeding homeless is remotely relevant and yes us being a football club we should be focussing on footballing matters. Agree on the tickets can’t see any negative to this.

I am absolutely happy we've invested so much off the pitch because that investment is guaranteed and lasts for years.

Anybody with any ounce of business sense will understand that, if we get relegated, we've still spent that money and it doesn't need spending again, so I'm very happy thanks.

Does Dave Flitcroft not turn up and call in sick or have you made that bit up?

Who's sacking carol if she makes a poor appointment? Bear in mind she says she knows nothing about football but you trust her to pick someone better?

I was using example. Unless you’re being a bit of a <ovf censored> on purpose it’s blatantly obvious he isn’t fit for the role and is single handedly taking us back to league 2. He should be removed from the role. The replacements quality is then down to Carol, should we have kept Crosby? I saw that argument tossed about on here. We can’t sack him as there will be no decent options out there, Darren Moore. Sack DF, if another poor DOF is appointed then that would be on Carol and yes would need replacing. Same as in every job.

i don’t trust her to make a good appointment no.  But again that Dosent mean we stick with Flitcroft!!

We’ve spent Synectics money yes, I can’t wait to see us having the best scoreboard and drains in league 2. May not have to fund them, but we will be needing to fund the playing bill on a much lower budget when crowds dramatically decrease along with season ticket sales.

For me as I’ve argued with you in the past. Get the product on the pitch to a decent standard and then improve off the field. we’re going to have facilities that we simply do not need and are of little benefit in league 2.

    Never said he was.

But then there's no guarantee that the replacement would be any better.

What you gonna do? Change the DoF every year?

    Blame someone else then?

Would we need new owners then?

So we should stick with DF then? Are you still happy that we’ve invested so much off the pitch and not focussed on the pitch? I remember you explaining so vicariously how much more important our off the field improvements were. Well this is the result.

So if you have an employee who is poor in their role, never turn up calling in sick all the time ect, you shouldn’t sack them as the replacement might be just as bad? That’s not how it works. DF should be removed for poor performance. It’s then up to Carol to ensure a suitable replacement is appointed.

Anyone, yourself maybe, who’s been around for a few seasons has seen it all before and suffered all of the emotions.  Crap football, off field issues, relegation, we’ve got the badge.  It still doesn’t dim the hope.  The good times are just around the corner.

I agree, seen it all before. But for some reason feels worse this time around. It may be because of the huge potential that has been thrown down the pan by Carols insistence on backing DF. Just feels worse this time around.

  8. More looking to renew that i would have thought. Personally I won’t be, football has been dire, there’s a huge disconnect within the club and sadly my interest is really starting to go. No doubt this will be spun back on fans who don’t want to renew / have a season ticket next season with some arguments on budget but the club have brought this on themselves. Much better things to do on Saturdays that watch Ryan loft, Gavin Massey and Connor Grant attempt to play football.

  9. No matter how <ovf censored> we are there’s always some fans that try and push blame back on fans. Now apparently a thread on a forum is going to affect the sides inspiration in the run in until the end of the season. I’ve really heard it all.
