Well he did 'invest' £250,000 which saved the club. More than most anyone has done. eg the Blue One who trousered over £1,500,000 when we got the Hugill dosh, and then threatened to fold the Club. Be thankful for small miracles. Let's see what transpires, eh?

Given the obscene money pumped into football by gambling companies, it does seem the height of hypocrisy to ban a player for betting, doesn't it?

You can see why some of these young players seem to think they are God's gift to football, can't you? It instills all the wrong values in a young man, IMO.

How do you know we will revert back? If, as seems likely, Uche stays, I really can't see Vale changing how they play, unless forced to by injuries.

If there is an underlying problem, it's not stopped him has it? Nor have the opposition defences, more to the point. Anyone else remember Asa Hartford, hole in heart, failed medical at Leeds, wonderful career thereafter. Let's hope Uche does the same for us. At least Divine Intervention will be a happy bunny now!

It'll be interesting to learn what's happened with Uche. If he's not going that'll leave us with one mightily disappointed striker on our hands. Not ideal, by any means.
