  1. Seems harsh, but On the Day Bird cant be the same price as Early Bird. The problem of how to deal with more fans than usual turning up on Saturday was by arranging for cash to be taken at the turnstiles as well as in the ticket office. The attraction being the recent on the field performances. Catering for more day tickets can be by more sale points or fans arriving earlier to avoid the pre-KO rush, selling tickets to the queue has been used in the past. Special pricing is a separate issue, I would go for a 5 match ticket for £100, £20 entrance to Bycars for holders of a £5 membership card (To maintain full price at the Hamil for away fans.)

    Are you Theresa May?

  2. But they are not being penalized because they are not able to take up the "Early Bird" offer, they are paying the normal price. So to make it fair everyone should pay full price? Thus the system is arranged for the many not the few. It may seem harsh but that is how it is, but can be much harsher if you buy an on the day ticket instead of an advance rail ticket.

I thought this was a thread on how to get more supporters through the gate. Harsh wont do it.

  3. Csnt play Henderson and Dier together , too negative. Dier has been awful in the last few games.

Sterling is awful on a regular basis, need Lallana back, who has a brain.

Alli is a child and needs some serious work on his attitude.

    Both keepers are good enough.

Need Rose back playing with Walker as wing backs.

Centre backs are accidents waiting to happen.

At least we have one of the best strikers in Kane with Rashford also coming on nicely.

  4. I’ve seen that you post on here on a regular basis. And I guess that you are a port vale supporter? So why don’t you attend?

I am part of his family/friend group of 7 or 8 of us who used to go/sit together. None of us now go regularly or even at all. I think you could count the highest attendees games on the fingers of one hand over the last two seasons. We have all made our decisions independently of each other too with out any interference. That should tell you something. I stopped going because I hadn't enjoyed going for a long time and that was over two and a half years ago. It is probably difficult to whip up any enthusiasm to go again when you know you will be sitting on your own. I am comfortable away from it all and at present I feel it is unlikely that I will ever go again , certainly not this season, other things have taken up the time and are far more enjoyable. I also feel a lot of frustration with the fans . In fact Andy was physically attacked by two so called Vale fans for daring to carry a banner saying V2001 out!! Memories are short and it has happened all over again with Tim becoming the whipping boy (I haven't seen anyone apologise to him yet). I wont be joining the protests this time , there is little point, but I do have a black and gold scarf for sale.

  5. Anyone who buys and drives a Tesla has got problems imho and besides that is brown still registered as a player and if so can't be sacked or he will have a cast iron tribunal case for constructive dismisal

You cant claim constructive dismissal if you've been sacked!!! You claim cd when the actions of the employer lead you to resign. I think you mean breach of contract.

  6. A bit of self-immolation might get some decent attention for our plight in the national press.

Imagine a cross between the album cover for Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here and David Pleat running across the pitch that time Luton avoided relegation. But on fire.

What about a collage of all the so called moaners saying I told you so.

  7. Longest serving manager ever, with Stanley, took them from Tier 8, where Nantwich are, to tier 4. I know their town has a league pedigree as founder members and later Div 3N in the 50s, which does help a little. So would be quite a feat for him to take them up to Tier 3, which could be in his grasp over the next few years. He is in his mid 50s, would he take a fresh challenge at the Vale or rest on his laurels?

He'd have to be downright mad.

  8. Over the last two games the only ones worth their places are Kane , Rashford and Henderson. Sterling , Dier and Chamberlain are awful, the full backs have pace and nothing else, the centre backs are an accident waiting to happen and the childlike Alli needs to grow up. This is England remember , our chances in Russia are not good.
