It really isn’t a case of a lack of effort it’s just zero quality and in simple terms, we just ain’t good enough!

I am judging Moore on Attitude, Results, Team Selections and Tactical Ability.
Plus do you honestly think he would have come to Vale on anything other than a 5 year deal.
Would he have accepted a One Year Rolling Contract based on Results, Would he****.
The Bloke is another Flitcroft.
Look at tonight’s Lineup, do I need to say anymore, I change after that display on Saturday, he hasn’t got a clue but you keep backing him, that’s your choice.
Totally disagree but everyone is entitled to their opinion even a minority one.

He has signed one player already and he can’t even make the squad.
A Proper Manager takes the abuse, a Coward walks down the Tunnel.
The Bloke is a Costly Loser but you will soon find out
You can’t judge him on a free agent signing - be sensible.
In order to find out he’s a loser you first need to give him a chance. Pep wouldn’t have kept this shower up!!- 1

Exactly Mate why are these other fans rating Moore, he’s won 5 games out of almost 40 at 2 Different Clubs.
He has not got the ability to improve players either individually or collectively.
Under Crosby at least in some home matches like Portsmouth, Bolton and Derby we hung on in and kept batting.
Under this Manager as soon as we concede that’s game over.
I may be wrong but under Moore we haven’t got 1 Point out of a game when we have conceded.
Moore Lovers let that sink in .
In my opinion Moore is another Flitcroft and unfortunately has conned our owner following 3 Hours of Bull**** over a Zoom Call.
He came in and on first Interview he said he was Honoured to be the Manager of Port Vale, he wil align the club, Staff, Players and Fans and fight as one.
What a load of ********
He needs the Fans, then at the Final Whistle on Saturday he doesn’t even acknowledge them, he just disappears down the Tunnel and gives is Usual Cringeworthy Interviews.
Vale Fans Deserve a lot better than this.
Firstly I cannot condemn a Manager who hasn’t even had one transfer window during his tenure. Secondly I don’t blame him going down the tunnel at FT as who wants a load of abuse from fans - I’d do the same!
No managerial appointment is guaranteed, all you can go on is past performance and other than Huddersfield, he has a reasonable record. The reason we will be relegated is abysmal recruitment by the previous regime. We decided to offload the likes of Worrall, Pett, Hall, Proctor and Benning for far inferior players.

I thought Uche looked a bit surprised and gutted to be taken off if I'm honest but Loft wasn't an option. He was injurred in the warm up and was on the bench in name only.
Unless Uche was injured to sub him for Weir was ludicrous. As soon as he went off we just couldn’t hold the ball up. I actually thought he did well yesterday and in a game we had to win, he was essential to us seeing the game out.

I’ll get my tin hat on for this one.
It’s time she kopped the majority of blame here.
She bought the club debt free. And as Vale fans we were overjoyed after the last crook. However the last 18 months have been shambolic.
As fans I hear, yeah the academy are doing good. We will get millions for him and him. We have sold this lad to Man City for hundreds of thousands. Etc. Etc. Bearing in mind as supporters we don’t see that money.
So isn’t it right to question why we are almost 10 million in debt when she bought it debt free?
The bread and butter. The football. It’s garbage. With garbage footballers.
Shes also had 4 managers now in her short tenure. And I dare say the latest one won’t last long.
Shes divided a fanbase with her cringeworthy backing of a man who was intent on ruining Port Vale. David Flitcroft. And only sacked him after a group of fans had to give her head a wobble.
The laughs and jokes and arrogance as Flitcroft announced that relegation wasn’t in his vocabulary. Followed by the cringe distraction of “El Presidente”. Probably for her and his ego.
The Valiant Suite talk about how people she met 5 minutes ago told her our players are phenomenal and we won’t go down.
She was very quick to go on radio and tv across the country when it went good. Then sunk back into her shell, apart from the most pathetic open letter I’ve ever read, when she more or less slagged off her fanbase. Those that loved her. In support for one crook.
Sorry Carol. The time has come to break your silence.
The last 18 months has been an absolute disaster. And the repercussions will carry on because that debt isn’t good, the players are garbage, the manager is looking like a dear in the headlights, and the fans are well and truly demoralized with the whole debacle.
The buck stops at the top.
Before any idiot says “Who do you want to buy us”, I’m not saying she should sell. My point is that her decisions, as owner of this football club, have got us into this financial mess and on the pitch it’s an absolute disgrace. The worst Vale team I’ve seen in 40 plus years. And if it was Smurthwaite at the helm, going through all of this, you’d all be raging. She needs to be accountable for her actions.
Although I agree with the majority of what’s a well crafted post, she didn’t purchase the club debt free. There were creditors that transitioned with the sale and it did cost her close to £5m to purchase.
Carol clearly has her heart in the right place but being the top person, does need to acknowledge the debacle of this season before we can move on. Hopefully she will reflect on the mistakes made, learn from them so we can rebuild and come back in a better position.

To some extent I have sympathy with the owners. Vale Park and the Railway Stand in particular is a money pit. We have had two decades of under investment and many things that needed to be renewed under V2001 or NS had been simply kicked down the road.
Some of the other projects maybe we needed to decide if they were priorities, over and above say, winning games of football. A lot of money has been spent and very little has been added to the asset register.
Two decades of under investment? I’d say it’s closer to five but you’re spot on about VP being a money pit.
In an ideal world we should move to a new build stadium with a 12k capacity similar to Rotherham. If our our useless City council got involved, it could also become a proper ‘community stadium’.

What contrast! First half one of our best 45mins of the season, second half one of our worst. The Weir for Uche sub was baffling. See you all in L2!

Well last night has made things clearer, one from Cheltenham, Burton or us will survive and two won’t. We need to win a minimum of two of our home games which, when you’ve only won one this year, ain’t going to be easy especially as we are scoring well under a goal a game.
Rightly or wrongly I can’t help thinking last night’s team selection had Saturday in mind with some of our better attacking options not starting. Whether DM called it right will become apparent at the weekend. Personally, I can’t see us beating Wycombe as they look a decent side in good form but we need to go out to set up to win every home game we now have left.

I think 7pts will be enough if we can get them.

I think another 7pts may be enough given the current form of the teams below us particularly if Carlisle can put in one of their decent away league performances like when they beat Bolton and Peterborough.

I know how you feel. Just when we look dead we get a glimmer of hope. Just when we get a lifeline we toss it away.

Weir’s been poor since he came on.

I would have settled for 3pts from these two away games - it’s certainly better than two draws - so lose this and its win Saturday or its all over.

Burton one up.

Tbf it’s been pretty even up to now the difference has been the finishing.

Pep wouldn’t have kept this squad up! Were you at Fleetwood away? Crosby had to go after that debacle.
I really don’t blame DM for our catastrophic season but if he stays it’s clear he ain’t going to have a lot of time or patience from the fans to turn things around. I suggest he starts by being honest with the fans and just says how abysmal this squad is.
