How do you work that out ? we hardly won a game with Ollie and Devine playing.Well done Ollie shame we couldn't have kept him we defo wouldn't have gone down .

Nothing to do with the owner. BB tryed to sort out what were personality clashes and power games in the dressing room.
Are you going to blame BB for for everything which happened negatively between 2000 to 2011...but not give any credit for what results did go right? At least the club went through a very dark ocean full of icebergs.. And BB steered the club clear of them... Credit where credits due.

Well the letter shows rather more contrition than the last one, but Darren Moore knows nothing about league 2 does he?
My personal view is that the league cup game against Mansfield showed we could have a strong team for league 2 with the right new faces brought in. I can’t imagine another bottom end Aspin era style showing.
The game against Sutton tells me we could struggle.

Be very disappointed in Port Vale if they don't........Angry statements from Peterborough, Tranmere, Accrington, Exeter, Grimsby, Crawley, York, Chester, Eastleigh, Dorking and Farnborough so far, + Millwall’s manager criticising it in interview. Also seen one non-league club say they won’t enter the cup next season.

That's a good idea the EFL should dig back, the greed is good league owned by foreign billionaire's and states are wrecking our national game, stuff em.......bustardsDisgraceful. Their greed knows no bounds. EFL clubs should boycott all loans from Premier League clubs so they're all stuck with massive squads of players who can't play games.

Do you honestly think that the 5 year contract doesn't have some sort of break clause to suit both Moore and the club ?This debate can be twisted however you want and make a compelling case.
Moore has inherited a disaster of a squad, however the facts remain he has won just 2 games since joining. That's poor however you want to look at it. The flip side is that he wasn't involved in any way with the recruitment of these players. His record at Huddersfield was also abysmal but again he wasn't around for the summer recruitment and was sacked at the end of the Jan transfer window... I don't know what business they did during that window.
He doesn't inspire during his interviews. He never seems to use subs to effect the game positively, although he doesn't seem to use them in a reactive way either as he never seems to react very quickly to opposition changes. I really don't know if he will come good given free reign over recruitment.
5 years is looking as silly as the 5 years they gave Clarke right now though isn't it.
However, how the head of recruitment is still in position, is a bit of a mystery.

What a drama queen, Don't bang the door on your way out....The excitement of Port Vale v Gillingham v Crawley is too much for me it's time call it a day.
Every passing week this season the on field shenighans have took a lot of me .
I hate league 2 I've seen way too much of it over the years .
Another sad day in Vales history .
It's time to let go of this 32 year weekly obsession it's downright energy sapping .
Today's second half and Wednesdays lie down and die performance v Peterboro especially after first goal has finshed my love off of Vale .
All the best to those who will continue to attend and suffer but I'm DONE, you do not do that to your own supporters there goals you Would have to see them to believe how shambolic they were 3 of there 4 goals, letting players have acres of space run into no leadership no nothing no challenges no commitment, zero application .

First off ... they paid well over the odds to keep our club in existence and no an alternative Fairy Godmother was not standing in the wings.
Secondly ... in addition to buying the club the Shanahan's provided the finance to take us into league 1.
Thirdly ... the investment to ensure the club could and can play at Vale Park has been £11M
Finally Someone who put nothing into Vale and took everything out ... Flitcroft is the culprit and Carol's mistake was to Trust him.
Perhaps we need to show support not belittle.
Your wasting your time, some of the comments and jibes against the Shanahans are disgraceful.
I never liked Flitcroft still don't but I don't remember anyone moaning about him when we got promoted, hindsights a wonderful thing, I would love to know what the critics alternatives are, assuming they have an alternative.

I would have preferred a half decent wing back and a more balanced side, he has a brilliant future in front of him but as far as the Vale are concerned him and Devine were vanity projects for Flitcroft I also wonder how much of a loan fee we paid money that could have gone in filling the huge gaps in the squad.
