I really hoped there would be an affordable way we could get rid of Moore but it certainly seems like it's not going to happen from that statement. I would love for Port Vale to have someone like Mark Bonner in charge next season in League Two, having a right good go. Right now I can't help but feel that our future is bleaker than my own.

It's hard for Port Vale in League One to be fair. We've got to get somebody else in to oversee the football side now anyway. Time to go out and get a competent manager, turn around a football team used to losing, and get promotion from League Two quickly. I wonder if we can get somebody in to do that as well as David Flitcroft did it.

I'm struggling to defend him to be honest, the appointment of Darren Moore as manager of Port Vale is a dreadful thing and he's responsible for it.
